The Ford Mustang SVT Cobra for 1995

A lot has been said about the Ford Mustang for 1995. As Ford's entry in the convertible market the Mustang (and in this case specically the SVT Cobra version) has maintained a solid reputation. Performance

The Mustang SVT Cobra is equipped with a Ford 5.0 liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The HO engine is mated to a Borg Warner 5-speed Transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Ford.

The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The Mustang uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. Load balancing is provided by coil front springs and coil in the rear.

The fuel system for the 1995 Mustang is a traditional SFI, running on gasoline fuel. The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The capacity of the fuel tank is 15.40 gallons.

The Mustang SVT Cobra received a miles-per-gallon rating of seventeen in-city driving and twenty five when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid car, this was exceptional.

What We Think of the Ford Mustang

The 1994 model began the promise of the Ford Mustang. The 1995 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Ford hopes that the Mustang SVT Cobra will continue to be a profitable vehicle.
